The Stanley Dynamic

I was approached by Corus Entertainment with a unique situation - to design an animated twin to a real-life actor who would be the star of a new television sitcom. I loved the challenge and in the end we came up with Luke Stanley, the come-to-life-cartoon of The Stanley Dynamic. Below are the very first sketches I pitched to get the ball rolling. 

From here we revised things a bit, exploring hair styles, poses and proportions, colour…

And after much experimentation, we ended up with our Luke! My sketches were then taken into the animation studio to create the animated assets needed for the show, which follows below.

I illustrated over 60 comic strip panels that appeared in each show and were used in online marketing and PR.
